Lake Forest Ranch Camp
LFR Story:
In 1950, Charles and Bonnie Barge of Macon, began an Interdenominational Christian camp ministry in the midst of a 50,000 acre pine forest in Noxubee County. For nearly sixty years Lake Forest Ranch has been providing Christian camps and retreats in a pristine environment that is among the most beautiful settings in the southeast.
LFR Vision:
The purpose of Lake Forest Ranch is to support the Body of Christ by offering Christ-centered camps and retreats that are biblically sound, relationally strong, and spiritually nurturing. LFR provides godly leadership for age-sensitive programming in a fun-filled environment.
LFR Staff: LFR carefully and prayerfully select their staff from a large number of applicants each year from all around the country. The staff goes through extensive pre-summer training. They each make sure that the campers, who are their guests every week, have role models to follow who love Christ, love people, and who know how to have a lot of FUN!
LFR Mission: Building Relationships for Eternal Impact
LFR Activities:
The activities are numerous and indescribably fun! Children can enjoy morning activity classes including a wide variety of options such as swimming, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, crafts, riflery, archery, and several others. Daily Pow Wows (worship services) feature some of the country's most gifted and interesting presenters of God's Truth for children. There will be times alone with God each morning, Bible study, rich singing, and much more to build the faith of kids in an environment of non-stop enjoyment!

There you will get a good idea about what a typical day at camp is like. But hey, there are no "typical" days at LFR! So why not plan to join the LFR staff, kids from other churches and Crossgates' friends and have FUN at LFR Camp!
